Optimasi Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah Industri Pemerahan Sapi menggunakan Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor

Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah Industri Pemerahan Sapi dengan sistem lumpur aktif seringkali mengalami masalah, salah satunya adalah masalah sludge bulking. Permasalahan bulking menyebabkan pengendapan sangat buruk dan melimpah menuju outlet bak sedimentasi unit selanjutnya. Hal ini mengakibatkan kualitas pengolahan tidak berjalan optimal hasil masih sering keruh berbau. Salah satu solusi untuk mengurangi kondisi penggunaan Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR). Pertumbuhan mikroorganisme akan menerapkan terlekat pada media MBBR, sehingga produksi dapat berkurang, lebih baik, Penelitian bertujuan menentukan kemampuan MBBR dalam meningkatkan penyisihan COD bulking, menganalisa waktu aerasi optimum filling ratio optimum. Contoh uji air limbah diambil dari Bak Kontrol CIP IPAL Milking PT X. Sumber berasal bio-starter EM4. dilakukan reaktor continous flow. Reaktor teridiri yang terbuat plastik berdiameter 24 cm tinggi efektif 22,5 13,5 cm. Variasi 4 jam; 8,5 17 jam. volume pengisian atau 25%, 40%, 50% reaktor. Media menggunakan Kaldness K1. Parameter dianalisis COD, Amonia, TSS, Kekeruhan sebelum diolah sesudah secara time series. Berdasarkan penelitian, 40% parameter SVI Kekeruhan, serta 25% Ammonia.
